Thought I’d make one last post before I lose my free high speed connection. Today is the last day of internet mooching and the only other access is my folks very slow dial up. Expect posts to be sporadic. We did well at the fair. The boys won 1st place in the Pontiac potato class with spuds they grew from our own seed potatoes. We won the zucchini class and got 2nd with our Purple Queen beans. Most of our jellies and pickles won 1st and a few got 2nd (a few didn’t place). Leah did well with her knitting, can’t remember the specifics. We entered some things in the antique show this year and won quite a few classes. We didn’t take any cattle this year. We are still busy packing stuff for the big move. We are also harvesting what we can from the garden and canning it. Been working on beans lately. Still plan to start moving the 24th and have the cows in by the 1st of September. Please keep us in your prayers. I’ll check back in with pictures of the new farm and news as soon as we get internet hooked up out there. I’ll still be checking email from the other computer for a few weeks and I can still be reached with my cell phone. Until I return, I wish you all the best. May God bless you all with bountiful harvests and keep you safe during the harvest.

Sounds like you did really well at the fair. I don’t envy you moving. I will pray that all goes smoothly.

Scott and Leah,
My boys and I will keep you in our prayers for peace, safety and ease in doing what seems to be an impossible task….moving a farm. It boggles my mind but our Father knows what needs to be done how and when - may He bless you with His guidance and grace.
Blessings,
Cheri and the boys
