Hey Scott,

I am reading A House for My Name right now. It is fantastic. Stacy and I are also going through Back to Basics. That, too, is a must read, especially for those interested in or new to Reformed faith. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend both to all of our readers.

In Christ,

Hi Gentlemen!

Matt,

Ever read A Son To Me by Peter Leithart? Its a typological reading of 1st and 2nd Samuel. I loved it, I also really liked his A House for My Name which is a survey of the whole OT.

I was blessed to hear James Jordan at a friend's church last winter when I was passing through his town. I only got to hear one session (1 hour) but he was tlaking about why it is important to note that the modern church, for the most part, has abandoned the typological interpratation of the old testament. It was the first time I'd ever heard of this, but it changed the whole way I look at scripture. Now it is beginning to make much more sense.

I enjoy finding and learning about these connections and typology in the scriptures, you can see God's hand moving throughout salvation history.
