Scott, I believe those young Terrys are more man than most adult men that I know around here. I am a “shop keeper” and you can tell your son from a shop keeper that yes, he would rather be a farmer… just like his daddy.

BTW - My house is not selling even though it’s priced significantly below market. No houses are selling here right now. Stacy has very difficult pregnancies, and her migraines are starting in full force so if it doesn’t sell within a couple of weeks we are going to take it off the market and make plans to bunker down here.

How cute! My niece, when she was four, said something to the effect of “That is the biggest … I have seen in my WHOLE life!!!” I had to laugh. What a vast experience for such a long life…

Sorry to come back agin so soon, but I agree that story time , is near sacred time with the children. It is so vitally important. We are trying to find books with merit beyond just fast speed entertainment. I did a foolish thing, I got my eldest hooked on Tolkien at ten years. At the time I thought reading LOTR was an accomplishment. However upon reflection I wish I had delayed it and stopped at the hobbit. It is just that LOTR is so mentally stimulating that I am finding iit hard to get her interested in ’slower’ fiction. Fiction that has boys and girls interacting without an agenda are top of my list at the moment.

Enid blyton, famous five
And of course those Ingalls
We also got a load from grace and truth, which are reprints of books from the victorian era with great powerfull Christ centered messages in them.

Congrats Scott another soul in existence NOW!
We love the ingalls books so much we bought a closeout bulk order and give them away as presents.
Pa is certainly a hard man to live up to, I bet he even has a bushier beard than me.
