Some Wisdom from the Missouri Rev
The following is from a comment Pastor McConnell left at Date-Dabitur…..
Under the present pagan dominion which stands squarely upon the neck of the church, the tail of our pagan culture (Deu. 28:43-44), reformation is most difficult, as it is highly resisted by all levels and branches of society, especially apostate Christendom which has made her bed with the unbeliever in seeking their peace and prosperity. But who shall this great reformation begin with and when? Shall we wait for others to start it first in making the initial painful sacrifices and hold out until there is no cost to us? Shall anyone of us that believe Christ is truly Lord of Heaven and earth, in the name of “protecting and providing for our families,” shirk from this biblical mandate He gives to seek first His Kingdom and righteousness, the very mandate that also spells out how we are to care for our families? If it not begin with us brothers and sisters then we have no business whatsoever to complain about the sad state of affairs and the wickedness that presses on to devour all things just and true, especially including our families and church. “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”
