Those who like to keep informed on the latest dirty tricks of the “Big Ag Boys” might find this of interest. There is a new push to get rid of “misleading labels” on the food you buy. By “misleading labels”, Big Ag means this…..labels that say stuff like “This milk was produced without the use of rBST”. Now they are are all for Not labeling milk that is produced with rBST, but of course that is very “ethical”. It is “misleading” to not use something and admit it, becouse that “tarnishes the image of milk”. The Voices for Choices fraud and and Monsanto are working overtime to save rBST and stop consumers from knowing how their food is produced. I’ve written about the Voices For Choices scam here. They are writting congress and getting together petitions to try to make it illegal to label food that is made in a ethical and sustainable way. Monsanto has a full page ad in some Big Ag magazines warning farmers about what a terrible thing it is to allow people to know how food is produced. “What tool is next?” they ask the readers. BE WARNED, these guys mean business and are putting together a cartel of Big Ag donors to get the job done. Sometimes it pays to stay on these guys mailing lists Lets show big ag how many letters to congress WE can send and how many phone calls WE can make. Don’t let these bullies have their way.
