Big Ag is Scared
Wanna know a secret? Big Ag, that filthy blood sucking parasite, is scared to death of us. Seems kinda funny, that our rag tag army of alternative farmers would pose such a threat to our generations Goliath. The signs are everywhere in the mainstream farming mags. Last copy of one of Big Dairy’s favorite brainwashing tools had a fancy glossy pull out section to educate people on why Organic farming is fraud. This was paid for by a huge animal drug company. The internet has really caused some problems for these guys, a lot of pro Big Ag stories talk about “misleading websites” and what a problem they are. The internet and the growth of alternative print mags like Acres USA and the Stockman Grass Farmer are starting to break the total control these guys have had on information. Why are they so scared? Why you know the answer to that, MONEY. If you had control of an entire group of people and tricked them into giving you every penny they made, you’d be scared too. If people try herbal remedies for mastitis and find out it works better and cheaper than drugs, these guys are in trouble. If you uncover the long forgoten age old knowlege of building sustainable soil fertility by using rotations and green manures, they lose your fertilizer and herbicide sales. They, for all the “free trade” talk, can’t stand any competition in the market place. If they are right about the safety of their product, fine. I don’t want to stop them from doing it their way. “Educate” the public on why your product is better. All we want is the chance to do the same. Lets have some real competition, folks. Your sales pitch verses ours. If you win, fine, but we both know you won’t and thats why your so darn angry with us. Big Ag likes it when you buy all those pricey inputs from them and then sell THEM your product at a loss. The sad thing is they have scared their slaves into thinking that we are the enemy. We are all a bunch of peta fruit loops, if you believe what you read. I have nothing against conventional farmers, in fact I feel awfull about the situation they find themselves in. Heck, I used to be one of them!! There is a better way, my farming brothers, throw off the shakles and pick up your pitch fork and rally behind us. We can drive these money grubbin’ vultures off the farm. At the end of the day consumers will choose who wins this fight. They will choose with how they spend their food dollars. I have faith that Big Ag will fall to the ground like Goliath. We better chop off its head when it dose.

All right! This post really got me going over at NF and I linked to it! This is good!

Unfortunately, the corporate state — which is what these agribusiness and drug companies are an imbedded part of — is a multi-headed beast. Lop off one head and five rise up to take its place. The good news is that the Achilles tendon to this enormous hydra is the usurious, debt-based banking system, which is what empowers it. If Christians would repent and get out of their usurious based “investments” and other “paper assets,” and seek the Lord for a biblical monetary system of honest weights and just measures, I believe it would shrivel up and die. Most Christians are scared to death of this, since they have most all their eggs in the banker’s basket. On the one hand they want to see the oppression lifted and freedom restored, but on the other hand they do not want the true oppressor dealt with since they share a common purse with it. I suspect the Lord will have to take His people far deeper into the valley of humbling before they are weaned of the multi-titted god of mammon. Most think this impossible, but it has happened every time before in history . . . God wins!!

Go get ‘em, Scott! We’re rootin’ for all you guys! Being city folks, we don’t have a pitchfork, but we’ve got a couple of shovels. We’ll help chop off those heads with those.

Hi Tim
Thanks for stopping by. Don’t be a stranger
Tom
Glad to see I got you fired up! Now is the time to rally the troops, Big Ag hasn’t even gotten started in its smear campaign.
Missouri Rev
You are so right about it being a multi-headed beast. I wish we could get more people to understand the nature of the Federal Reserve and its wickedness.
Hi Deb
Thanks for the encouragement. A shovel will work just fine

Scott,
Now tell us how you really feel!
You and Missouri Rev have hit it on the head (or is that “heads”?). May God continue to call His people to heart felt repentance and to pursuing a simpler life in humble dependence upon Him. Getting debt free is key! And I would say that getting land that can be passed down to the next generation is also a worthy goal.
Thank you. It is posts like these that help encourage me as I hope to soon move my whole family out to debt-free land to pursue a more agrarian lifestyle.
Keep up the good work!
