Lets celebrate
Last night, after supper, the boys were running around me saying “Get the ice cream out…Lets celebrate!!!” Celebrate? What, the broken manure spreader, the broken barn cleaner, the wood that needs spliting, the frozen pipes, the frozen toliet or my burned fingers? I asked them what on earth they were going to celebrate. The answer was like a 2×4 across the forehead. “That Jesus died for our sins!” called out John. “And He rose again!” chimed in Noah. All I could say was, “I’ll get the bowls.”
Kids are worth having around if for no other reason than to remind you who God is and what He has done for you. This is why I get so upset with those who want to keep the little ones away from His Table untill they can give a testimony that resembles the theological understanding we expect from a man going through an ordination questioning.

Scott:
May God bless you as you train your children faithfully. Those statements come because they have been immersed in a lifestyle rich with living in the truth.
Thanks, also for your kind note and continued prayers for our family.

Add my “Amen!” to the chorus.
Blessings to you and your wife as you continue to raise godly children.
May we ALL “become as little children.”

Faith like a child! I’ll never forget one Sunday morning at church when they were asking for prayer requests and praise reports and my then 4yo baby girl stood up on her seat and shouted, “Jesus died and He’s alive again!!!” Hallelujah! Your sons are so precious, Scott.

Lynne and I have been praying for grand kids for a looong time, even adopted ones.
Please give us first priority on those boys on any adoption list you may comtemplate from time to time.
It makes my heart glad to see a young godly father living the ordained role of fatherhood. Thank you Lord, there is still hope for America.

My 5 year old granddaughter, who says playing in the mud keeps her “Okie-pied” never fails to praise the Lord. It doesn’t matter if it’s rained 4 inches, she’s still thanking Jesus for the rain. My 2 year old grandson stands up in church after each hymn, claps and yells “Good Job!” God bless the little children.

Little children are such good pictures of where we need to be and how to act sometimes. I think that was a great reason to celebrate!!!
