It’s a Boy!

Sorry I’ve been so long without any updates.

This morning at 11:31, after 36 hours of labor, Leah gave birth to our son. Soon after he was born, I had to head back to the barn to try to catch up on chores. I’m just now getting in. We have named him Isaiah but haven’t came up with a middle name yet. He weighs 9 lbs 6 oz and is 21 inches long. He has dark hair and blue eyes. By all measures, a fine young man. Thank you for all your prayers. Leah will probably post a more detailed version of the whole event at her blog soon.

Breaking News !!

His full name is….. Isaiah Athanasius Terry

It is said that Mary (Bloody Mary, I believe) trembled more at the prayers of John Knox than all the armies that threatened her. Any pagan with discernment ought to likewise tremble at the birth of another Terry son.

Scott and Leah, may God use your faithfulness in training your son, so that he is a part of breaking down the gates of hell as a holy battering ram. May he be part of the army that God uses in bring his kingdom on earth, in causing his will to be done here as it is in heaven. May God crush His enemies under Isaiah’s feet, and may He bless the poor in spirit, and those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, through the life of your son.

  8. Missouri Rev Says:

Great news!! Welcome Isaiah!! I agree with JFC, may the pagan world soon tremble because of the faithful, humble obedience the Lord works in your (Scott and Leah) sons. May the arrows of your God ordained quiver fly straight to His glory and honor.
