Flood News
It seems we up in the hills made out pretty good, compared to our lowlander friends. Our church, Crown and Covenant RPC, was hit bad. The word is she is now off the foundation, so no telling if she can be saved. I haven’t seen it yet, they say it will be 2 more days before the water is low enough to start pumping. Dave called me last night with the news. Please keep our congragation in prayer. Some members of our church were living in some of the bad spots. One family, according to Dave, lost almost everything. Some have evacuated to higher ground. A whole house from Conklin fell into the river and floated all the way to Binghamton before she broke up from hiting the railroad bridge. To be honost, we didn’t know the extent that everyone else was hit until last night. No TV, and I had been to busy cleaning up our mess to listen to the radio. I got done with milking and went to work spliting wood. Dave called about 9pm and I was still out chopping away. Please pray for all effected by this flood, I’ll keep you posted of any news.

Sorry to hear about all the flooding and damage, Scott. Sounds like your community is in the same state ours was not too long ago. Will be lifting up your church body and neighbors in prayer.
