The Northern Farmer also posted on the bad times a few days back. I'm glad that, like the Psalmist, y'all are giving the full picture. We might not like it (the full picture), but knowing that God is sovereign, and that his people cannot be separated from his love, does bring a peace in the midst of the storm.

Hang in there brother. Praying for you!

We have so many people excited about farming. I am glad for it, but I wonder if they really know the bad times are a part of the package. Sometimes we doubt our sanity here. It must be like Peter walking on water. Looking at Christ in awe and walking on water too. Looks down and despairs questions his sanity and sinks. When we take our eyes off him, it changes our whole view. Half full becomes half empty. The amazing thing is God is still there with outstretched arms ready to help us when we take our eyes off him and sink. Such a merciful gracious God.

You are doing a fine work bringing Him glory when walking in the valley! May he bless you beyond measure during this valley time.
